Description
This beautiful Great White Egret, sporting bits of breeding plumage of delicate ornamental feathers on its neck and back, was photographed while it was standing at the water's edge at Lake Ella in downtown Tallahassee, Florida.
With its bright white feathers, it is highlighted in striking contrast to the dark blues and reflected browns and blacks in the shallow water in which it is standing.
