Description
This thatched cottage was photographed on the Isle of Wight, off the coast of England, across the Solent from Southampton.
The cottage, which is a bit more like a manor house, given its size, is situated in the middle of fields of green, with the water in the distance behind the building.
The final touch to this quintessentially English scene is the red, white, and blue Union Jack displayed beside the white gate in the stone wall.

Carla I could get lost in this image. I can hear someone from my childhood reading me a story all about this little house and the grounds around it. Voted!
