Description
A variety of interesting architectural styles, including Capetian, Gothic and Renaissance, can be seen in Dijon, France, in Burgundy. Some buildings, such as the one pictured here at the end of a street in the old section of town, have colorful polychrome roofs, called "toits bourguignons" or "toits vernisses," made of green, blue, yellow, orange, and black glazed tiles arranged in geometric patterns.
