Thanks so much, Anne. The top deck of our cruise ship afforded this spectacular view! Definitely a different perspective than I had enjoyed before, and it was complete with Andrea Bocelli singing "Time to Say Goodbye" as we sailed out of the Grand Canal and left Venice. Ahhh... wonderful memories (including of the coffeee!!)

This is really good. You don't normally see shots of this scene taken from an elevated position, so that makes it extra special. The cafe in the front left corner makes a mean hot chocolate by the way! (Actually, all of the ones in and around St Mark's do...) ;o) v
