Description
A GLIMPSE OF MONET'S POND AT GIVERNY is a photograph by Carla Parris with lovely pink flowers in the foreground, weeping willow trees on the left, and one end of the pond filled with lily pads and occasional water lily blossoms.
The Japanese gardens surrounding the pond at Giverny are beautiful! Claude Monet was a master gardener as well as famous painter. He spent twenty years working on his pond and gardens before he ever began painting them. Once he began, he found inspiration there which carried him through the last thirty years of his painting, when he never lost his fascination with the play of light, reflections, and ever-changing vistas in his gardens and pond.
