Description
PEACEFUL POND PAINTERLY VERSION is a digital painting by Carla Parris.
Four rowboats are tethered at the edge of a peaceful pond which is surrounded by towering trees and thick, lush vegetation.
The photograph which was the inspiration for this digital painting was taken at Black Dragon Pond outside the UNESCO town of Lijiang, China, near the Tibetan border, in Yunnan province.
The image is predominantly green, with hues from chartreuse to hunter green. The rowboats, which are the focus of the painting, are aqua and white.
