Description
The Vermilion Flycatcher is a regular visitor to St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge in northwest Florida. This brilliant scarlet colored bird visits the preserve during the winter months. This pudgy little male, whose black markings give him a masked appearance, was photographed in his favorite hangout, the Double Dikes region of the national park, in March, 2019.
