Description
Boston, Massachusetts is a wonderful American city at so many levels. This New England town figures prominently in early American history. Its Freedom Trail is a great way to see some of the key sites in our nation's past. It is also a financial and cultural center - more than I realized before visiting there.
One of the things I particularly enjoyed was the architecture, and the proximity, and sometimes juxtaposition, of old and new buildings was a feature that caught my eye, and my attention.
This image celebrates the more modern side of the town's architecture. Here, the view upwards presented a host of lines, angles, shapes, colors, and materials. It was a great perspective as I enjoyed one of the downtown areas.
