Description
I loved these sunflowers when I first saw them, and when I learned they were, very appropriately, called "Teddy Bear Sunflowers," I was totally smitten!!
These plush, fluffy, and dare I say cuddly, flowers were photographed at an outdoor farmer's market on the West coast in Salem, Oregon.
These unusual flowers are a beautiful bright sunshine yellow with a hint of spring green in their centers. There are many, many slender, pointed petals densely clustered together, emanating from a tight center.
Wouldn't a bouquet of these lovelies brighten anyone's day?!
