These sweet daisy-like flowers have their cheerful, glowing faces turned upwards towards the warmth of the summer sun.
The color scheme of this rectangular image approximates a triad of secondary colors, with the lemon yellow in place of orange, and a garnet wine color in place of a true purple.
The image has undergone light photo editing to enhance the colors and add a hint of a painterly effect.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
