Look at the great patterns and shapes of this peeling paint!
Here, there appear to be three layers of paint creating this great natural abstract. The top layer is pink, the next layer is a soft cherry red, and the deepest layer is a rusty brownish garnet.
This macro image is a detail of the surface of an old, weathered, aged gas pump at a station in North Carolina.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens!
