PICTURESQUE TAORMINA WINDOW is a textured and enhanced digital photograph by Carla Parris.
This image features a beautiful flower-bedecked window in lovely Taormina, Sicily, in Italy.
The windowsill has containers of bright pink and orange flowers, and there are hunter green painted wood shutters.
The surrounding walls, which appear to be plaster covered brick, have wonderful texture and patina.
There is a vintage look and feel to the overall image, which has been enhanced with warm golden tones.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
