Thank you, Heidi! The Forbidden City is massive!!! So much to see... buildings, temples, gardens, and more. The Chinese really like stone and rock sculptures and formations, and this scene is near one of the entrances to the Forbidden City.

Thank you, Bob and Nancy. Hope you get to visit there sometime! Just be sure to have your walking shoes on... The complex is immense! And would you believe that as we were exiting the Forbidden City, we ran into a couple from Nebraska that we know? What were the chances if that???

About Carla Parris

Carla Parris

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
