GOODNESTONE COTTAGE WITH ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN is a digital photograph by Carla Parris.
Goodnestone is a delightful village in southern England, near Dover ande Canterbury, which is home to an English estate and gardens, a church, a tea room and pub, and many picturesque cottages.
The one pictured here is surrounded by an English garden with a colorful jumble of vibrant flowers.
The county of Kent, where Goodnestone is located, is called "The Garden of England." This charming scene makes it easy to understand why!
About Carla Parris
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
