Evening at the Beach Canvas Print

As evening settles over the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, Florida, the remains of the golden light of late afternoon are reflected on the damp sand and the incoming waves, creating a lovely natural abstract in a palette of warm neutrals, golden tones, and pale and muted aqua and seafoam green.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
