Artist's Description
Colors abound in this macro image of curling, peeling paint.
The top coat is turquoise blue, the next layer is coral, and the bottom paint layer is canary yellow.
There is additional texture and pattern from the rust on the underlying metal surface.

About Carla Parris
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
