Beautiful Selworthy canvas print by Carla Parris. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). Your canvas print will be delivered to you "ready to hang" with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.

Artist's Description
In my opinion, Somerset, England is underrated. I always heard lots about Devon and Cornwall, but very little about Somerset. When I visited this region, it was gorgeous!!
The beautiful rural village of Selworthy is located in the National Trust's Holnicote Estate on the northern fringes of Exmoor. It has picturesque thatched cottages, such as the one pictured here, which are painted a creamy, buttery yellow with limewash that has been tinted with ochre. Much of Selworthy has beautiful views, as well!
The village and the surrounding Holnicote estate were given to the National Trust in 1944 by Sir Richard Acland, whose family had owned the estate for nearly 200 years. It is now a lovely area for residents and visitors.
My advice is, don't miss the region of Somerset, with its moors, wild ponies, heather, and wild beauty, and don't miss quaint and picturesque Selworthy!

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
