Artist's Description
Weathered paint and rust create interesting patterns.
Here, a predominantly blue section of painted metal has horizontal slash type lines and sections of rust, mostly on the lower right area. That section of the image looks like the bark of a tree.
There are touches of yellow and rusty brownthroughout the image.
The upper left has splashes and streaks of color which add texture and interest to the image.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
