Description
I love visiting English gardens, both because of their beauty and because I so often discover interesting and unusual plants and flowers which are unfamiliar to me. This close-up of a small tree's flowering branch was photographed in a friend's back garden (back yard) in South London (Penge and Beckenham area). The angle of the sunlight provided lovely backlighting which enhanced the beauty of the subject, whose identity I have yet to determine.
