A bright red orange vine is growing up and across a metal door whose paint is peeling and chipped.
The diagonal line of the vegetation is the focal point of this natural abstract.
The palette of this piece is shades of army green and bright orange.
This image was photographed in the small rural community of Quincy, Florida, in the northeast of the state.
About Carla Parris
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
