This image provides a glimpse into a shop preparing some of the Chinese noodles which are so popular in Chinese cooking.

I was so surprised when, while strolling a street in the Sichuan province of China, I looked into a shop whose door was open to the street, and this is what I saw! I had no idea noodles could be this long!!

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
