BLUEBONNET DREAMS is a digital photograph by Carla Parris.
Bluebonnets are the state flower of Texas. During the spring, they grow in meadows, fields, and on hillsides. It is not unusual to see people using them as a backdrop for photographs of children, senior portraits, and the like.
This is a soft focus version of this image. It has a peaceful, serene, dreamy image.
The palette of this springtime image is purplish blue and spring green.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
