A beautiful flower-lined brick path at the entrance to Maclay Gardens welcomes visitors to the state park, beckoning them to explore the beauty beyond.
This lovely park is located on the north side of Tallahassee, Florida.
I always think this Southern city is in her glory in the spring, when the dogwoods and azaleas are blooming. These icons of southern landscaping are seen throughout the established neighborhoods and downtown areas of Florida's capital city.
Unlike much of Florida, Tallahassee is far enough north to actually have a winter, so the arrival of spring is always very welcome.
