Description
This bouquet of large sunflowers was photographed at an outdoor provencal market in France.
The French name for "sunflowers" is "tournesol," which, loosely translated, means turning to the sun. These beauties just crave the light and warmth of the sun, and are always reaching upwards.
Sunflowers are particularly prevalent in Provence, in southern France, where are are vast fields of blooms. However, they are not limited to the south, and these particular flowers were for sale at a market in Normandy.

Thank you, Heidi! I was overdue for some spring cleaning on my site, and planned to do more anyway, but your nice comment has encouraged me to do it sooner than later! Thanks.
