This exotic rubrum lily, also known as a stargazer lily, appears to be gazing upward, hopefully and expectantly, towards the heavens.
The beautiful violet and gold texture is courtesy of Joel Olives, and the final semi-translucent texture, from the Whisper in the Garden series of the Belle Fleur collection, is courtesy of Cheryl Butler.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
