This digital creation is a collage of three original photographs and several texture layers.
The primary subject matter is a single purplish pink macro cherry blossom image in the lower left. It is facing upwards to the sky, in a cheerful, optimistic posture. That image was captured in a walk around my neighborhood in Tallahassee, when our lovely Southern town is in her glory! Scattered across the image, but most visible on the right side, are small white flowers which were photographed growing on the edge of a lake in Alabama. Barely perceptible in the upper right is a branch of white pear blossoms photographed on my family's land in northwest Florida.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens!
