Description
LUMINOUS WATER LILIES is a fine art photograph by Carla Parris.
This image of the pond at the home of French impressionist painter Claude Monet, in Giverny, France, features luminous water lilies and lily pads floating on the glassy, reflective surface of the deep, dark green, murky waters of the pond.
Monet's pond in the Japanese Gardens at his Giverny home, outside of Paris, was the subject of his master gardening work for many years and, later, of his famous paintings.
Like most of Monet's paintings of his beautiful pond, this image has no horizon line. The viewer is drawn into, and easily gets lost in, the beautiful, mysterious scene.

Carla, this is a beautiful image; I love lily pads, and you have presented this idyllic scene so gracefully. I love the soft focus, also. l/f
