Provence is famous for its lovely, fragrant lavender.
One of my favorite souvenirs to purchase when I am in Provence is little sachets of dried lavender, such as the one on the right of this photo. I love their delightful contents, and also the charming printed Provencal fabrics from which they are made.
These little sachets, which are sold all over Provence, are small and lightweight, so they are easy to carry, and they make your luggage smell nice! They also make nice gifts.
