FRENCH VILLAGE WALKWAY is a digital photograph by Carla Parris, taken in the old quarter of La Roche Bernard. It portrays one of many charming walkways among the old stone buildings in the Vieux Quartier.

The scene from Brittany is enhanced with pink hydrangeas in the foreground, and colorful flowers and vines on the ancient stone walls.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces.
