The palette of this image is vivid springtime colors of aqua, green, chartreuse, pink, purple, and magenta.
The iris featured in this digital painting is from a digital photograph taken at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge in northwest Florida, where a wide variety of flora and fauna can be enjoyed.
Although the iris was photographed far from France, I incorporated it in this French theme composite image because irises are the national flower of France.
