Description
Exmoor National Park, which runs along the northwestern coastline of Somerset into Devon, is an area of exceptional natural beauty. It includes unspoilt high rolling moorland of heather and grass, and some of Britains oldest agricultural land. The area is home to ancient herds of horned sheep, Exmoor ponies, and wild red deer.

Thank you so much, Lianne! I was really surprised and delighted at the beauty of Somerset. Seems to be a bit of a well kept secret. I hear lots about Devon and Cornwall, and they are very beautiful, too, but Somerset's mile after mile of beauty were very unexpected. Hope its okay to make you a little nostalgic for England!

FAVE. This photo reminds us that if the sun would lift a little more off the heart-rendingly beautiful face of England's countryside, no one would ever want to leave.
