Description
The Cullasaja River, in the Nantahala National Forest, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, is lovely from every vantage point. Here, it is viewed from behind Dry Falls.
Located outside of Highlands, North Carolina, Dry Falls derives its name, and its fame, from the fact that, because the waterfall flows over a cliff, visitors can descend midway down the falls and walk under the cliff, behind the falls, staying (mostly) dry.
