Steephill Cove is a secluded and picturesque coastal area on the Isle of Wight. This traditional unspoiled fishing village, located near Ventnor, has a handful of holiday cottages, painted beach huts, and brightly coloured canopied deckchairs. Resident fishermen, with their colorful floars, nets, and boats, have been practising their tradition along this coast since the 1400's.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
