Description
Driving through Somerset yielded beautiful views of England's green and pleasant land at every turn.
This rural county of England is filled with rolling hills such as the Blackdown Hills, Mendip Hills, Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park, and large flat expanses of land including the Somerset Levels.
The region offers cultivated farmland, and wild regions with heather, sedge, and grasses where the Exmoor wild ponies wander freely.
The town of Selworthy is also delightful, with unique pale yellow thatched cottages, and beautiful views.

Beautiful indeed, pristinely pastoral with a pleasing blend of country charm and human hand.

Thank you, Nancy! The scene was gorgeous. My challenge was to do it justice with my capture!
