Lourmarin is one of many perched villages in southern France.
The city's skyline features a distinctive clock tower, and the facades and rooftops of assorted buildings, all silhouetted against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains.
The perched villages of Provence are to France what the hill towns are to Italy. These medieval fortified cities are full of history and charm. Thanks to their elevated positions, they typically offer spectacular views to the visitor willing to clumb their heights on cobblestone streets.
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
