Description
VARIEGATED MULTICOLORED ENGLISH ROSES is a vibrant, bright, colorful digital photograph by Carla Parris.
This cluster of vividly colored, variegated, multicolored roses was photographed in an English country garden on the beautiful grounds of Leeds Castle.
The castle is located near Maidstone, outside London, England, in the region of Kent, which is called "the garden of England."
Leeds Castle dates back to the eleventh century. It was owned by Henry VIIIth, who gave it as a gift to Catherine of Aragon, his first wife.
The castle, which is advertised as "the loveliest castle in Europe," has a moat, with water, and a maze.
Henry VIII was an avid falconer, and the castle also has a collection of birds of prey.
