Description
SCENE FROM A SOUTHERN COUNTRY ROAD is a digital photograph by Carla Parris.
This abandoned barn, photographed amidst cotton fields and red clay in southern Alabana (affectionately called "L.A." by locals, for "Lower Alabama"), provided just the kind of scene which makes driving on country roads through rural Southern countryside so enjoyable.
The abandoned and forgotten old wooden barn, with its eye catching red roof, is beginning to collapse.
The vintage effect processing, which this nostalgic image seemed to demand, included use of three textures by Kim Klassen.

Fantastic fine and capture! Love the rustic texture as well. Love all the old barns, would so love to see them renovated instead of being left to rot and then torn down. We are loosing a great deal of our haritage by letting them go. f/l
