Description
PANORAMA OF PALE PINK ENGLISH COTTAGE ROSES is a panoramic format digital photograph by Carla Parris.
This beautiful branch of pastel pink English roses was photographed outside a pub in the town of Goodnestone, outside Canterbury, in Kent, known as the garden of England, where we enjoyed lunch before visiting the nearby gardens of the English manor home owned by the FitzWalter family.
Jane Austen was a frequent visitor to the stately home which is currently being renovated.
The gardens include a walled garden with a spectacular view of the village church; a vegetable garden; a formal garden; a pond with wooded surroundings; and an ancient chestnut tree.
At the entrance to the gardens, there is a delightful cafe with where we enjoyed a nice cup of tea, and a slice of homemade cake, after our visit to the gardens.
This romantic pastoral image would be particularly lovely with shabby chic, country, cottage, or English decor. The panoramic format makes it perfect for the space over a sofa or loveseat. It is a feminine image which would also be perfect in a young girl's bedroom.
