MEDITERRANEAN BLUE is a digital photograph by Carla Parris.

This scene was photographed in the French Riviera resort town of Nice, France.

The blue beach umbrellas, and blue and white striped cushions on the lounge chairs, mirror the blue of the warm, inviting Mediterranean Sea.

My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
