Description
FIRST SIGNS OF SPRING is a fine art photograph by Carla Parris.
This cluster of bright white pear blossoms is a sure sign that spring has arrived. This early-flowering fruit tree holds the promise of fresh spring greens, and full-fledged spring color, soon to come.
These petite, delicate blossoms have lovely touches of chartreuse in the throat of the petals, and touches of lavender on the pistils and stamen. They have a bit of a star-like appearance. The buds have touches of a pale raspberry pink.
This image was photographed on my father's childhood farm in the small town of Greensboro, Florida, which was named after my father's family, whose name was Green. Greensboro is in Gadsden County, near Tallahassee, where I now reside.
